Still

You are still holy,
Even when I am not;
When I am angry,
Down & out,
When I want to just give up.
You are still loving
When my heart is so ugly,
And there is no good reason
To let me into yours.
You are still powerful,
Even when I try to take over,
Unyielding,
And make my own way 
Through this world.
You are still Everything,
When I try to replace you,
Forget you, or leave you out.
For you are perfect and true,
And I need you, still.
