Essence

Fall upon me,
With fire & power;
Fill me wholly,
In this place, in this hour.
For the freedom that you bring
Is unlike any other;
Your praises will I ever sing,
To my God who is also my Lover.
I need you within me
To survive another day;
Your endless grace & mercy
Surround me, I pray.
For without your abiding presence
I am absolutely nothing;
I long to feel your essence
Flow through me like a spring.
